On January 28th, LatinEsque brings back their second iteration of Telenovela Cabaret (the show that started it all) at The Newport Theater. Produced by SioBast, Vivi Valens, Ms. B LaRose, and Sally Marvel, this show is definitely bringing a brand new meaning to the word DRAMA!
Combining burlesque, theater and comedy, and based on the telenovelas we watched growing up, this show is a unique blend of something truly special. Vivi Valens reprises her role as Veronica, a woman who’s had enough misfortune, and decides to take matters into her own hands. Fabian, her rich doctor fiance, is played by Dr. Rocktagon.
Supporting cast includes Nelson Velazquez (Narrator) SioBast (Celeste), Ms. B La Rose (Juanito/Miguel), Lupita Lovely (Mother Magdalena), and Millie May (Maria). By their side, the ensemble: Sally Marvel, Luv Ami, and Lady Nana.
